Central England Proficiency Testing
Central England Proficiency Testing Limited was formed to support the work of the National Proficiency Testing Council. Today CEPT is an independent organisation and arranges the assessment of thousands of candidates throughout the Midlands area, and beyond, and works closely with City & Guilds Land Based Services (NPTC) to provide a high level of service to all our customers who want to achieve their land based qualifications.
CEPT cover all areas of assessment which culminate in the “Certificates of Competence” issued by City & Guilds Land Based Services (NPTC) and support candidates throughout the process. As an Assessment Centre we do not offer training towards the assessment, however we work closely with a number of training providers and colleges who do provide this service, details of which you can find by clicking on the Trainers section.
Assessments can be organised in the following disciplines:
- Chainsaw and Arboriculture
- Pesticide Application
- Forest Machinery Operations
- Utility Arboriculture
- General Machinery
- Horticultural Machinery
- Plant Machinery
- Health & Safety
Please see the Assessments Section for more detailed information.
